Carpentry
A small amount of our stock goes into making low volume, high quality furniture items and completed timber structures. Selected samples of our hardwood and softwoods are kiln dried, machined and used in the follow types of carpentry.
Stock timber
- Dry, prepared timber for your own projects
- Currently available softwoods: Douglas Fir, Larch, Pine
- Currently available hardwoods: Lime, Ash, Oak, Beech, Poplar, Cherry.
Exterior Structures
- Shepherds Huts, Glamping pods, Garden offices, Car Ports, Garages, Compost Toilets, Pergolas, Decking, hot tub surrounds, or any custom designs.
- Even Log Cabins!
- Customers choice of redwood timber: larch, Douglas fir, western red cedar.
Outdoor Furniture
- Wet graded timber that naturally reduces to ambient moisture content for outdoor use.
- Chunky, sturdy designs with lots of timber – simple but high quality.
- Natural rot resistance and durability. Much better than Garden Centre specification.
- Custom designs and requests always welcomed.
- Oiled or scorched “Shou-Sugi-Ban” style.
- Exterior use.
Fencing
- 6′ x 6′ fence panels in a range of styles
- Other custom sizes possible
- Castle boarding, vertical waney, horizontal waney edge.
- Scorched, oiled, or natural finish
- Great for gardens, driveways.
Indoor Furniture
- Only A1 Kiln dried hardwoods and select softwoods. Any species can be found for customer requests.
- Coffee tables, dining tables and benches, desks, kitchen worktops, side tables and bed frames
- Live edged slab tables, river tables, resins, bowties.
- Sturdy made to order welded bases in a range of designs, or custom. Stainless steel, powder coated any colour, any specification you require.
- Planed, sanded and choice of oiled finish.
