Cladding
Timber cladding provides natural, durable protection to the surfaces of buildings and other structures. Timber is one of the best materials for cladding due to it’s environmental friendliness, and it’s thermal properties.
Our cladding is sustainably sourced from our private estate in North Wales.
Selected timber species used in cladding products are naturally weatherproof, durable, long lasting, and contain natural oils & resins requiring little to no ongoing maintenance. To preserve the original colour, rather than allowing the natural process of “silvering off” to occur, use natural linseed oils or similar.
All cladding products are available in Douglas Fir or in Larch, which are technically very similar, but offer slightly different colours and finishes. For other species such as oak -contact us for advice.
We offer a wide range of different types of cladding, depending on the application can be used internally or externally, and can match many different styles of project from rustic to modern.
Waney / Live Edge Cladding
- Waney edge cladding produces a rustic finish on any sized project
- Allow 25% waste/overlap when ordering
- 18mm thick unless custom ordered
- 2.4 and 3.6 metre lengths
- Widths vary from 170mm – 280mm
- Rough sawn finish
- Exterior use.
- Choice of LARCH or Douglas Fir
Square Edged Boards
- Square cladding produces a clean, modern finish
- 1 inch / 25mm thick unless custom ordered
- 2.4 and 3.6 metre lengths
- Widths: 4 to 8 inches
- Rough sawn (exterior) or kilned and planed (interior)
- Choice of LARCH or Douglas Fir
Machined Profiles
- Kiln Dried, and machined for a modern, clean look.
- Various profiles and thicknesses, even custom shapes – contact us with your requirements
- Shiplap, half lap, tongue and groove, decking, planed all round.
- 2.4 and 3.6 metre lengths
- Widths vary from 120mm – 280mm
- Interior uses: flooring, panelling, saunas.
- Exterior uses: cladding, sheds, fences.
