Firewood
Timber that doesnt meet the requirements for the sawmill finds its way into the firewood pile. We offer a mix of firewoods for economy/biofuel, and higher quality woods for the home.
All firewood is kiln or air dried to well below the minimum requirement of 20% moisture, so you can be sure of a clean, effiicient burn.
Hardwood Logs
- Intermittent supplies
- Highest quality Ash, Beech and Oak
- Kiln dried
- Min 1 Pallet orders
- Great for home stoves, creates a lasting, hot coal for overnight use
Softwood Logs
- Seasoned or Kilned, both less than 20% moisure
- Fast, bright flame, good for kindling or to boost the heat in a stove.
- Great economy.
- Readily available
- Douglas, larch, other fir species.
Mill Offcuts
- Hard and softwood varieties
- May need time to dry/season before use.
- Typically higher bark content.
- Best economy.
- Readily available
